This flag has a rich history and provenance. In commission from 1933- 1935 by the German Empire this Iron Cross design had been used historically by the North German Confederation from 1871-1918/1921- as the marine jack.
The soldiers who fought to capture this particular flag in WW1 also autographed it. While it is in good to very good condition, there are a few flaws in the fabric, as to be expected. See photos for detail.
It measures 11’ X 6.5’.
